Hi! My name is Vandal, or as my foster mom likes to call me: whoisagoodboy! I’m currently going through heartworm treatment, so right now I need a home where I can be kept quiet with limited activity and plenty of crate rest. I can't play with other dogs right now and can only go for three, short 5-minute walks a day. I've had my first treatment injection and will need to go to the vet for my next injection in the beginning of January. I will have to continue my activity limitations for 60 days after that. But I won’t always have heartworms so here’s what else you need to know about me:

• I’m a 50lb Pit Bull mix who is so full of love that my whole body wags when I am happy!
• When I get excited, I have to find a toy to hold in my mouth. Foster Mom says it’s the cutest thing she’s ever seen! Sometimes I accidently pick up a shoe instead of my toy, but I am a good listener when told I can’t have it.
• I’m crate trained, potty trained, people and dog friendly, and I walk well on a leash(except when I see a squirrel) so I’m basically perfect!
• I love to chase cats! It is probably best if my new home doesn’t have a cat…
• I haven’t had any interaction with children, but I think I might like them. I do have the tendency to jump up when I get excited, so maybe no small children as I might knock them down in my excitement.
• And finally, I LOVE to snuggle on the couch! My new family must be prepared to give me all the snuggles I want 

Vandal’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
