LEGO is an 11 month old, male, Louisiana Catahoula mix.  He was found in a rural area as a stray.  This young boy is the whole package!  He is house trained, knows some basic manners, crate trained, and is friendly with other dogs and cats.  LEGO likes kids, but it is important to keep in mind with kids that LEGO is a herding dog.   His breed by nature is to herd.  He is mouthy and can try to nip heels to “keep you in line”.  These behaviors can be overwhelming for small children. LEGO needs a home with a FENCED YARD to give him a place to exert some of his energy and an active family!  He is not just some couch potato! LEGO would love another playful dog to be in his home!
Breed experience is highly recommended due to LEGO’s classic Catahoula traits!  This breed is familiar with hard work and long days!  Their stamina is high and needs a “job” to keep them busy and their mind from wondering to destructive behaviors.  This breed needs a firm owner to keep them on task and provide a challenging environment full of enrichment activities, both physically and mentally.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
