My name is Sturgis! I’m about 2/3 years old. I am a perfect medium size dog. They are thinking I am a terrier/heeler mix. I have mostly white fur with a brown circle on one side and adorable brown freckles on my ears!! I weigh about 40 pounds. I live with two other dogs and have a big fenced in backyard to run around in!! I am dog selective. I haven’t been cat tested.
I am almost potty trained!!! I am crate trained. I might bark for a few minutes but then I settle down. I love toys! Especially ones that can be chewed on or squeak.
I will need a family with patience that can train me. I like to run and play but let me tell you....I am a GREAT snuggler! A fenced in yard isn’t a must but it would be nice. Having kids to play with would be a bonus!

Sturgis’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
