Hi! My name is Chief. I am about 4 years old and the cutest 7lb Chihuahua you have ever seen.  I am a beautiful white with tan spots.

I have spent the last few months hanging out with my foster family because I am heartworm positive and have been undergoing treatment.  My foster mom says the hard part is over but I still have to limit my activity for the next few weeks.

Did I tell you how big a lover I am?  I love nuzzling my foster parents and getting all the pets.  My little tail wags at million miles per hour, especially when you have a treat.  I can get a little nippy when it comes to food so I don't really want to hang out with little kids.  I have not hung out with a cat but I have done well with other dogs.  I love to play but I am just as happy napping.

Please put in an application today so my foster mom can tell you more about how awesome I am.

If you are interested in meeting Chief, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Chief’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
