Hetfield is a hunky chocolate colored Pit Bull mix that is about 10 months old. In typical Pit Bull fashion, he is a tiny lap dog trapped in a 50lb body. He loves everyone and everything and thinks every day is just a blast! Hetfield was picked up as a stray and never reclaimed. After being at animal control for over a month, he feels like he has a lot of playtime to make up for. He needs an active family and/or high energy dog friend to play with.

  • House and crate trained
  • Dogs: Friendly! His size or bigger would be best because of his strength/playstyle.
  • Kids: Teenagers and older. He could knock a younger one down accidentally.
  • Fenced Yard (4 foot is fine)
  • Cats: unknown
  • Knows Sit and walks decently on a harness
Needs work on: not jumping up and learning when playtime is over.

Hetfield is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.

Hetfield’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
