You’re perfect for me if you’ll be active with me. As long as you keep me well exercised or give me some work or a puzzle, I’ll stay out of trouble. After all, I am super smart.

My favorite thing to do is to play fetch. This means you through the ball or Frisbee and I’ll go get it and run around with it. I also love playing tug. I think I’d be great at more obedience or agility training.

I don’t bark much unless someone (or a cat) is in front of my house. Sometimes I give a sweet howl when I get excited or I’m trying to get my foster mom’s attention (like let’s go outside please).

I’m a little shy when I first meet a new person or a new dog. I’m also shy when my foster mom sweeps or vacuums the floor.

If you have little kids, I might like to herd them which means I would probably nip at their heels. If that would make you mad, then if you have kids under 8, please don’t try to adopt me.

Sparks’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
