This handsome boy is Spock.  He is guessed to be a one year old shepherd mix.   He is small at about 45 lbs.   He has a lot of shepherd characteristics.  He is cautious around new dogs when he first meets and may be dog selective.   He is doing much better with the dogs in his foster home after a few days.   So far he loves every human he has met.  Have not yet seen him with children at this point.   Unknown about cats.   He is very smart and highly trainable.   He currently is a counter surfer and likes to jump up on you to greet you but we are working on these issues.  He appears to be house broke.  He has broken out of a typical wire crate but has not had any accidents after he has “escaped”.  He does have many typical puppy behaviors such as picking up shoes and been caught chewing on the bed post.  He is easily corrected, however.   At this point in time he prefers to be near his foster mom as opposed to hanging with the other dogs.   However as this is being typed he is having his first “play fest” with the other one-year-old foster in the home   Spock is a very smart boy who will make a great companion for an active home.  

Spock is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.

Spock’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
