NEEDS COMPANION ANIMAL

This is Rusty, a 1 year old Vizsla mix. He is a very sweet boy, but very timid. Once he warms up to you, he'll be your best friend. At this time he will not walk on a leash, but his foster mom is working on getting him comfortable with wearing one.

Rusty loves playing with his foster siblings (male and female) and chasing squirrels in the yard. Like most young dogs, he has a lot of energy to burn and will need daily exercise. Since he is not comfortable going on walks yet, he will need to have a fenced in yard so he can run and burn off his energy. He can be vocal when playing, but is quiet in his crate. He is crate and potty trained, and weighs about 45lbs.

Rusty’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
