We proudly present you with this cutie, Wesley.
This precious, year-and-a-half-old pupper was found as a stray in Kennett, MO. Wesley is most likely some type of Maltese, chihuahua, and/or terrier mix. He has very fine, wiry fur and weighs in at just 11 lbs!
Wes has not met kids or cats yet, however, we have no reason to believe he would have any issues. Wesley has displayed 0 signs of aggression and infinite signs of preciousness. He is quite the baby and loves to be pet and snuggled and absolutely adores playing with our Border mix. He would do just fine with or without another dog.
We think Wes is pretty good on a leash but he's also 11lbs so it's hard to tell if he's tugging much anyway. He hates his crate but we are still trying to get him accustomed to it as we think it's important for him to have his space. He does not chew and mostly does okay out in the house alone, however, we are still working on potty training. He's about 70% of the way there.
I will tell you, little Wes is a little weasel! He climbed right over our baby gate and will always try to sneak past our feet when walking out the door. Boy, is he quick! Due to this fact, we haven't gotten to test him off-leash yet but would definitely recommend a yard with a fence that has no small gaps or holes.
We can't wait to find the perfect family for this little bean!
(and yes, that one ear is always up, and yes, it's far too adorable for us to handle)

Wesley’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
