Matilda is a 2 year old, female, blue tick Coonhound!  She was found wandering down the interstate in a rural area.  She was picked up and taken to a local vet, no one ever came looking for her.  After three weeks, Needy Paws Rescue was contacted to help Tilly find a new home!   She is an average size girl for her breed, weighing 63 pounds.  She is housebroke and crate trained.  Tilly loves to play with other dogs, especially the little guys!   She has a lot of energy!   Tilly would not be a good match for an apartment as she is a vocal girl and knows the song of her breed.  She will need a fenced yard or a plan for exercise.  She rides great in the car.   Tilly is not a fan of cats, and can not go to home with cats.

Matilda’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
