Wayne here is an 8 year old male long hair chihuahua. He approximately weighs 9lbs. Wayne was surrendered by his previous owners who were moving and did not want him to come along. Their loss is our gain.

Wayne can take a moment to warm up to people. He’s not a fan of being picked up, but loves to sit on your lap. He lets you know when he’s ready for attention. He loves to follow around people and is constantly seeking out where his foster mom is. He is potty trained but tends to mark because he was not fixed. Once he’s neutered that should not be an issue. He is quick to listen when being corrected.

One thing you will notice from the video he loves his crate. He will come with it because that is his safe space. He comes out when he wants and puts himself in when he wants. He likes to lounge on the couch with his foster dog brother. Cats do not bother him at all. He would probably do best in a home with either no kids or older respectful kids. He can have a chi-tude and needs a family that understands that. He does fine alone but will bark from time to time. He can have a home with or without a fence. He listens really well to his name and walks perfect on a leash.

Wayne’s adoption fee is $125.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
