Dezi is a 5 month old male chihuahua. He is doing a great job learning to walk on a leash and is almost fully potty trained. He enjoys cuddling, licking, following around, and whining at his foster mom 24/7. He loves attention, playing with his toys, and napping on the heated blanket. He is very fearful around new dogs and humans but once he warms up he becomes extremely loving and playful. He has never been around cats and would not do well with small children as he is easily scared and very fragile. He is only 4 pounds. He would do best with someone who is home a ton and I think he would be happy as the only dog in the house or happy with another chihuahua sibling. 

He stays crated for a couple hours at a time while his foster mom leaves the house and does cry in his kennel and is very happy when his foster mom returns. He likes to sleep in the human bed, go for walks at Forest Park, ride in the car, and bark at things such as grasshoppers, wind, trash cans, nothing and any other thing that moves at the wrong time.  

Dezi is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.

Dezi’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
