Mel - is an 10 week Feist mix.  His Mom was a Feist and his dad was a traveling salesman- We have no clue who dad was.  He will be a medium dog when grown.  Probably about 30-40 pounds.  

He might be small, but he doesn’t let that get in his way.

He does likes to play with his siblings , and doesn’t really like to be alone, so we feel a home with another doggie friend would be best for Mel.

He loves toys and anything that squeaks or makes noise. He also loves to be outside and explore new things.  He likes to nap next to you and checks every once in a while, to make sure he can see you.

He is doing great with potty training, kennel training and working on his manager.  He will need a family that will continue to keep working on mastering these skills.

He is a barker – not sure he will do well in an apt setting

He really needs another dog in the home- he does no do well without one

Also it says on the web site he is kennel trained and he is not and hes not potty trained

Watermelon is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.

Watermelon’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
