Meet Oscar! This sweet boy is a 6-month-old chiweenie who loves to snuggle and give kisses. He weighs about 8 lbs. Oscar was living outside for a while with his siblings before he came to Needy Paws, but he is loving the good life in his foster home!
Oscar is a typical puppy and enjoys playing, going for walks, and getting the "zoomies" followed by naps on the couch. He is still working on his potty and crate training, but doing great so far. He will need an adoptive family who can take him outside every few hours to continue working on his potty training because he is too young to hold it for a full workday. Oscar will need either a secure fenced yard or an adopter who is committed to taking him out on a leash regularly so that he can exercise and go potty.
Oscar does okay in his crate when his foster family is gone (he will cry for 20-30 minutes, then settle). He prefers to sleep in bed with his humans at night -- as previously mentioned, this boy loves to snuggle! He loves other dogs and would enjoy another small or medium-sized dog to play with. He would probably be fine with cats. He would enjoy kids as long as they are respectful of his small size.

Oscar’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
