Diego is a spunky terrier mix with a sweet personality. He is house trained and knows basic commands (such as sit, come, and no). He has average energy and good manners for a puppy his age (about 8 months old). Although he has a wiry coat, he does shed a bit.
Diego is an affectionate guy who likes to hop onto your lap and give kisses. He is not used to being crated, so would love to live with someone who is home a lot. He sleeps in a dog bed ... or if he could join you in your bed, that would be even better!
Diego can be protective of his people, and would benefit from training on how to greet visitors without barking. He also can be a bit competitive over food and toys, so may be best with older children. He hasn't been tested with cats, but does well with other dogs.
This scruffy little terrier loves being outside, so a fenced yard would be great.

Diego’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
