This handsome boy is Sinatra. Please read his bio before considering adopting. He is guessed to be a one year old Australian Shepherd (Aussie)/Border Collie mix. Please read up on the energy level of these breeds before considering adopting. He is very high energy and will require a fenced in yard. He also will need a high energy play buddy. He is unsure of humans at this point so he needs another dog to give him confidence that humans are okay. He will take some time to warm to any human, however he is not aggressive in anyway. He is immediately more relaxed with dogs and loves to play. He is approximately 42-45 lbs but could have a little more filling out to do. He seems to be housebroken and does well in his crate. He does however sometimes hide in his crate. He has typical puppy tendencies like grabbing shoes and running off with them. He also likes to drag his foster moms clothes into his crate. He will take a lot of patience and training. He is treat motivated so that should help with his training. He is afraid to approach a human unless they are sitting down or laying down even then he is hesitant. He is becoming more comfortable with his foster mom but is over exuberant in his affection by mouthing, pawing and jumping on her. He needs time to relax around his people which again will take some patience and training. He would make a great agility dog as he loves to leap when he runs and can clear a baby gate easily. He does seem to learn boundaries however and seems to know now he is not supposed to go over the baby gate. He is a good boy who deserves a good home who has time to work with his high energy and let him become the great dog he can be.
