Great Pyrenees / Mixed (long coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Senior : : Large
Harry is a 95 lb Great Pyrenees. We are told he is 8-9 He was found and taken in by a very nice family but as good as he was with the three children in the home, noise, and at a lot of action made him nervous and he would hide. This family took him to the vet and got him up-to-date with all his shots. He was very matted so they shaved him down. He currently is growing his hair back in and will look more like his true breed once it has grown back. His coat will need to be brushed to keep it mat free as it grows out. We are told he is afraid of storms. He has only been in his foster home a couple of days and he has been a very good boy. He is currently not interested in the 18 lb or 60 lb dog in the home but is likely adjusting to his new environment. He quickly attached himself to his foster mom and likes to follow her around and lean against her for attention. He seems to enjoy attention from humans. We are told he’s afraid of storms. He definitely prefers to be indoors with his humans than outside. He appears to be housebroken. He goes very willingly into a crate with treats and remains quiet while there. He is very low key at this point. He is very sweet and would like a quiet forever home.
Harry ’s adoption fee is $125.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
