Ace is a gorgeous black/tan and white husky.  Please read up on this breed before considering adopting.   Ace is guessed to be under two years of age and is approximately about 45 lbs.  He is currently underweight and needs to gain some weight.   Ace was running loose in West Plains for over a week and finally a woman took him in.  Unfortunately her older female husky did not care for his energy.  He was very good, however, with her young children.
Ace has been in his current foster home a very short time.  He is friendly, gets along well with all the other dogs including an 18 lb dog.  Apparently he likes to chase cats, so would not recommend a home with cats.   He will go in a crate but he is not fond of it.  He seems to be housebroken for the most part.  He has had a couple marking issues but seems to understand this is not acceptable.  His recent neuter should also help in that area.  Ace has some energy and is very playful so will need a home that can give him time to expend his energy.   He is very sweet and affectionate and likes to cuddle.

If you are interested in meeting Ace, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Ace ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
