Junie, 6 month old lab mix (≈27lbs)

Junie is a sweet and curious pup once she warms up to new surroundings or people. She’s a little slow to trust men but is a lover once she does.    She is a guard dog at heart and will let you know if she hears any strange noises around the house.    She would love to hop up and snuggle on the couch with you for her frequent naps.    She’s great in the car and good with other dogs unless she’s eating (a bit defensive of her food and treats).    She’s never met a cat or a kid but I imagine she would be friendly once she got over her shyness.    She’s highly motivated by food and we have used this to leash train her.    She’s almost completely house trained (only a few accidents when unsupervised), and she sleeps through the night in her crate.  This lowkey girl would be a perfect only pet with a fenced in yard.    She has a tendency to run and explore if she’s not on a leash.

Junie is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.

Junie ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
