Billie is around 2-3 years old and a shepherd mix. She is currently on the skinnier side and weighs about 50 pounds. Billie has not been kid tested, but we think she would do well with older children who are considerate and patient. Billie is on the quieter end and is not much of a barker. She is very laid back and is perfectly content outside on her own or inside napping. We are currently working on commands, but Billie does not seem to have any prior obedience training. She’s a sweet girl, though, so we haven’t had any issues with the lack of obedience training. She’s potty trained and partially crate trained, but prefers to sleep in her bed. At night, we keep Billie in our kitchen with baby gates up and t his has been great so far. Billie does require a fenced in yard.

If you are interested in meeting Billie, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Billie ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
