Hi, I’m Addie! I’m a one and a half year-old pitbull mix. My foster mom thinks I’m also part Shar-Pei because of my cute little face wrinkles and face shape. I’m a sweet, curious, playful pup looking for my forever family!

I haven’t had any accidents in the house and rarely bark since coming into Needy Paws Rescue foster care from county animal control. I LOVE playing with toys-plush toys, nylabones, you name it, I love it. I’m good at ‘sit’ and have quickly learned ‘down’ and ‘stay’ while in foster care. My foster mom says that I'm very smart! When I’m done playing for the day, I’m a great couch buddy and even like to ‘watch’ the TV screen to fit in with the human pack. 

On walks I like to meet the other dogs and get along well with them on leash and through fences. However, I have been dominant with my foster sister dog and will do best as an ‘only dog’ in my forever home. I also need a home that doesn’t have cats because I like to chase small animals. I love all kids! However, I’m a little too playful with younger kids so will do best in a home with older children (10+).

My ideal forever home is with an active family or individual who can give me one or two good walks a day and who can be firm and consistent with me as I learn how to behave well in all situations (I can be a little too bouncy/hyper at times when I get excited or have too much pent up energy!). I respond really well to structure and will make a loving and loyal member of the family!

Addie ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
