Nelson has been a lovely houseguest so far!  He is a champ at wearing his harness and walks well on a leash.  He has gotten along with his 25 lb foster brother but has shown little interest in him or in other dogs when on walks.  So far, Nelson has spent his time here sleeping on the couch, cuddling, or following us from room to room and looking cute in the process!  In his short time here, he has shown us that he really likes to be in the same room as his people.     He is still adjusting to the crate. He will bark when he is put in the crate, but then has slept through the night.  He has not yet been tested with cats, kids, or big dogs.

Nelson ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
