Bosley weighs in at 11 lbs, but don't call him a lapdog! He wants to come with you on all of your errands around town and follow you from room to room to keep an eye on things. He loves to go on walks to sniff out the neighborhood. Even though he doesn't have a tail, he explores his territory with a confident strut. After a day of adventuring, he will be happy to snuggle with you on the couch. His preferred sleeping spot is in bed with his humans, and sometimes he burrows under the covers for maximum coziness. Bosley enjoys stuffed toys and digging for treats in his snuffle mat.

 

Bosley would prefer a home where he can have lots of time with his family. He is doing well with his crate-training, but since he bonds so closely with his people, he would do best in a home where he is not left alone for more than a few hours at a time. He will bark if left alone for extended periods. Bosley has classic terrier curiosity, and will he need a secure fenced yard or an adopter who is committed to keeping him on-leash at all times outdoors. He is good with other dogs. He likes children but since he likes to mouth people's hands, he would probably be best in a home with older kids where all of the family members can work with him on his training.
