Sonny is a 2.5 year old, 50 pound, Doberman mix that was taken in by a neighbor. Sonny spent all of his life living outside, and this Good Samaritan took care of him over the years until she finally took him in. Unfortunately, that did not work out with her cats and small dogs in the home, otherwise she would have kept Sonny. Sonny is a spunky boy on the smaller side who is said to love chasing squirrels, cats, and extremely dog friendly with pooches his own size. He is too rough to be placed with small animals, but would appreciate a pal to help boost his confidence and get some energy out. Sonny is an alert boy and will bark at noises and sights that he hears outside, from inside the house. Thus, he is not a candidate for multi-unit living.

Sonny ’s adoption fee is $300.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
