Durham is a rags to riches boy. He was moments away from death after being picked up as a stray when Needy Paws stepped up and gave him a chance. He is the happiest knowing he will never have to spend another night out in the cold.
Durham is a easy going boy that just wants to be apart of the family. He would do well as an only dog or with fur siblings. He hasn't meet a dog he didn't liked. Durham is also good with kids (young and older) as well as the resident cat in his foster home. His foster family has yet to hear him bark which would make him a good choice for someone living in an apartment or townhome. He is crate trained but can cry at bedtime. His foster mom puts on some classical music and that soothes his to sleep within a few moments.
He is 90% potty trained and is working on basic commands like sit, lay, stay and down. He will need an owner willing to keep up with his training. He is a strong dog and is learning to walk on a leash but being such a smart boy he is picking up on it fast.

Durham ’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
