Hi there!! My name is Apollo and I'm a 2 year old, 55 pound lab/ boxer mix. I love spending time outdoors with my humans, long walks, and smelling all the leaves. When I'm not outside I like to stay by my human's side and have all the snuggles. The first thing I did at my new foster house was jump right up on the couch. I'm so used to being up there - so if you aren't "dog on the couch people" that's okay - but I'm probably not your guy.
I'm very friendly and have yet to meet a human that I don't love instantly. I haven't been tested with children yet, but I think I would like older children better because I can get a bit mouthy when I'm excited.
I'm also smart and love to learn! Right now I'm also learning basic obedience and practicing my "sit," "stay," and "come" every day. I already have my crate training down and am potty trained.
I am heartworm positive and am halfway through treatment. I will be done mid-February. I can be adopted prior then - I just need to be kept quiet. I'm really excited to find my forever home, so if you think we might be a good match apply to adopt me today!
Apollo ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
