Chip came into rescue in early November of this year. She was found running on Chippewa with a torn collar and leash. At first, this sweet girl was afraid of every human she came into contact with. After some decompression in her foster home, this playful angel has learned how to relax and be a dog. She would do best in a house, not an apartment. Chip is great with other dogs and would do best with another dog to help show her the ropes in her forever home. She has learned to walk on a leash when she’s in a harness but is still timid if the leash is hooked to her collar. It is possible someone neglected or hurt Chip, but she is eager to move forward from that. Even with what seems to have been a rough start in her life, Chip has never shown an ounce of aggression. She is a young, playful girl who wants to snuggle up with you and relax or have a romp in the yard with her doggo friends. Good with dogs and kids, not cat tested but her foster family says she’s a quick learner and will follow whatever boundaries the feline of the house sets if her forever family has one.
