About Cocoa | |

Miss Cocoa is a 7 yr old Chihuahua mix. She is approximately 12lbs.
Cocoa shares a lot of similarities with her namesake "Hot Cocoa." Cocoa is warm and delightful on a cold day. She loves to snuggle on the couch or in bed. She is basically your own personal heating pad. She is very sweet and loves to share kisses. And the most obvious - she has a beautiful brown coloring.
Cocoa is low-medium energy. She loves taking a walk down the block but is just as happy snuggling on the couch.
She is close to being potty trained - once in a routine she should be good. Cocoa will hang out in her crate but it isnt her favorite place. She can be a little vocal so she may not do well in all apartments.
Cocoa has not hung out with cats but she is good with other dogs. Her foster mom has also not seen her with children but thinks she could be good with older kids - 8 or older - since she can be a little mouthy when she plays. Her foster mom is not sure about her hanging out with little animals since she trys to hunt down squirrels.

Cocoa ’s adoption fee is $175.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
