Meet Rosie, a 3 yr old, 9 lb female Bichon Mix.  Rosie has had a rough beginning with family giving her away to another family who kept her for only 4 days, who then dumped her at Animal Control.  Needy Paws brought her into the rescue and adopted her to a family who has now returned her after 10 months because she doesn't like men.
 
Rosie is a Beautiful Dog, however she is VERY particular about her family;
  • She will growl/bark at men, although when her foster dad sits down, Rosie will jump in his lap.
  • She is very possessive which means she wants you all to herself.
  • Although she walks around outside with other dogs, she DOES NOT want other dogs in home sharing family, bed, food and toys.   REQUIRES to be ONLY DOG
  • NO KIDS.  She is not a kid friendly type dog.
  • She would like to have a fenced yard to run in, however, she might be okay walking on leash.
Rosie's IDEAL HOME would be a woman alone ...OR.... a wife and a husband who is VERY understanding that Rosie would have to get used to husband and he would have to be patient with her.  No children or grandchildren because Rosie is not a kid type dog.  She would love to sleep in bed with you but will sleep in a dog bed next to your bed.
 
Rosie knows her family is out there as she continues to look for them with us.

Rosie ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
