My name is Cider. I'm a gorgeous 4-month-old lab/shepherd mix. I was living outdoors with my siblings before I was rescued, so people still baffle me a bit. But I'm starting to enjoy their pets and pats, and I especially enjoy a good belly rub! I think I'm housebroken, because I almost always go potty outside. But I may still have an accident or two. I enjoy spending time in my crate; I never make a peep while I'm in there. I get along great with my foster dog buddies--in fact, I would really like to find a family who already has a dog, because it makes me feel better to follow a confident dog around. I also get along with cats. If you think you can be patient with me while I get used to life with people, I'd love to meet you! Cider is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.

If you are interested in meeting Cider, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Cider ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
