I'm Jessi, a 10.5 year old cockalier (Calvelier and Cocker Spaniel mix). I lived in the same home from the age of 6 weeks until just the past week when my owner surrendered me. Although I'm sad and confused I'm adjusting into my new foster home pretty well. I'm so gentle and loving - I'll get along with dogs and kids with no issues. I've never been around cats so I don't really know if I like them yet.
Don't let my age scare you! I have lots of energy left. I love to go on walks and I still like to play with a tennis ball!
I like to be on the couch. In fact I love to snuggle! If you don't let dogs on the couch I'm probably not your gal. I've been doing it for 10 years so let's not make this transition any more difficult...
I'm potty trained and can be left out without tearing anything up. In fact, I've never been crated so I'd prefer to not have to be in a crate. I sleep on a doggie bed in my foster mom's room. I would prefer to sleep in her bed but I can't quite jump that high.
As I am getting up there in age I do need someone who can lift me into the car - and eventually on the couch. I weigh 37 lbs although I need to lose some weight.
