Max is a 4-year-old terrier mix. He has cute, expressive ears and a beautiful tricolor coat. At 17 lbs, he's the perfect size for bringing along on your next adventure. Mr. Max is a curious and gentle boy who didn't have the greatest start in life, but he sure plans to make up for it by enjoying all of his favorite things to the fullest!
Speaking of Max's favorite things, this sweet little guy loves snuggles, kisses, and belly rubs. He is fully house-trained and does great when left alone in the house -- no kennel needed! Closed kennels are a scary thing for Max because he spent the first years of his life trapped in a dirty cage with very little human interaction. However, Max's loving personality has BLOOMED in his foster home, and now he can't get enough of his humans!
Since Max's early life was so limited, many things are brand new to him: sunbathing, walks in the park, playing with toys, and visits to the pet store are all wonderful adventures for him. Max does well with other dogs and kids. He isn't picky about his forever family...he just hopes that they will spend lots of time petting him! Bonus points if you'll let him sleep in your bed. Max ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
