6 months old and 15 lbs
Short smooth hair, petite pit body, adorably big feet that she will grow into.
She adores other dogs and always wants to play.
She has times of high energy and loves to play and run around. She has the most adorable “zoomies” and almost fully understands fetch!
She also is super cuddly once she calms down, gives many kisses and doesn’t mind being held. She is very VERY sweet.
Newly house and crate trained, relatively used to being in crate during the day when foster is away at work. She loves cuddling and sleeping in bed though, and would be fine sleeping outside the crate at night.
She is in her puppy chewing stage, but has toys and mostly focuses her chewing on them. She clearly understands the word “no”, so if she is doing something she’s not supposed to, she’ll listen if you scold her.
She has a bit of separation anxiety, and that shows when you first put her in the crate, but she calms down quickly and is typically fine entertaining herself for some time.
She only really barks when first put in the crate, and when she’s excited to meet another dog.
She LOVES all people, including kids, and always wants to make new friends and say hi to everyone!! She’s very excitable, and is working on lessening her jumping.
She knows “sit”, is learning “lie down”. She’s a quick learner and very smart!
She loves to go for walks, and would love to have a yard as well!
She has experience living in an apartment, and does quite well with the elevators, stairs, apartment layout, noise level, and walks. She is happy in an apartment setting, but would also love a house for sure!
She seems to do okay in cars.
Overall, she’s really sweet, energetic, and pretty easygoing and happy! She can’t wait to find her forever home!
Ruby is a typical puppy that will require ongoing training.

Ruby’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
