My name is Troy and I am 2 yrs old. They think I may be a mix of chihuahua / dachshund / terrier but it doesn't matter, because I am so cute!!

Scratch my ear, and I’ll follow you anywhere!” This handsome, playful, affectionate charmer has the makings of a frisbee champion! Troy is longing for an active BFF or family, even with other dogs his size or smaller. Squeaky toys and playing fetch are among his passions. Troy is a great guard dog and jealously protects his family and his yard. His athleticism calls for a four foot fence or higher.

If you are interested in meeting Troy, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Troy ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
