Feeling lucky?

Well we sure are since we were able to rescue this amazingly sweet boy!

Lucky is a beagle/basset mix, 2 years old and 35 lbs.

He is a medium-small size with soft multi colored coat.

He is a gentle soul and great with other dogs and kids. Lucky would thrive as an only dog or with doggie siblings. He is confident yet chill!!

He has not been tested with cats.

His energy level is low…this guy loves to snuggle on the couch and watch TV (check out video). He does have moments of playfulness and will fetch a ball. He perks up at soft toys and likes to gnaw on dog bones as well.

He is house and crate trained. He sleeps in crate through the night without a peep.

Lucky walks well on the leash but takes his time…. always with his nose to the ground to not miss any good sniffs!

He is great in the car and lays down in the back seat to nap. He loves all people…even those he has just met. Even teenage boys!!

Lucky would need a fenced yard as his breed has a tendency to wander off…no height requirement as he is not a jumper.

We’ve only heard his deep baritone bark a few times when he joins in with the crew at his foster home. He’s a lover…not a barker!

All the puppy stuff is done with this one….no chewing or accidents in the house. Lucky is just a great dog ready to steal your heart with those brown eyes and pudgy toes!!

Lucky ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
