Midnight is a 10 month old (DOB:9/16/18), male, black lab mix.  He was surrendered into a rural Missouri shelter by his family because they didn’t have time for him.  Midnight is housebroke and crate trained.  He is a gentle boy that is good with other dogs and kids.  He likes to chase the cats in his foster home.  Midnight currently weighs 46 pounds and will probably grow another 10 pounds ish.
Midnight came to rescue as the shy guy, but you wouldn’t know it know!   He thinks he is a lap dog and loves to snuggle and cuddle.  He loves to play with other dogs and to be outside!   When Midnight first arrived to the shelter he was terrified of a leash.  With a few weeks of patience and hard work, Midnight walks very well on a leash and harness.  He is cautious when getting his harness on, but once he leashes up he is ready to roll!   He will need a secured fenced yard to go outside due to not willing to potty on a leash yet. He would benefit living with another dog to provide a role model for him.  He has learned to sit and lay down.  The biggest motivation for Midnight is to tell him “he is a good boy”!   He gets so excited and craves to hear those words!

Midnight ’s adoption fee is $100.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
