I love everything. There is not a mean bone in my body. I love my foster brother, who’s a chocolate lab, I love other doggies, and though I haven’t met any kids or cats yet, my foster parents think I’ll love them too.
I’m potty trained, and after living with my foster parents for over a week, I haven’t had any real accidents in the house. I do tinkle a little bit when I’m excited or nervous, but I don’t purposefully go potty inside. With patience and time, I know my nervous tinkles will be part of my past, I just need a little time to adjust to new situations and new people. (I am still a puppy, after all.)
I’ve already learned a few tricks! I have great recall and come when I’m called, I know how to sit, and I go into my kennel when told. I’m also learning to be good on a leash, my foster parents are working with me and I’m picking it up very quickly.
Did I mention I love everything? I love to run zoomies in the backyard, I love when you scratch my neck and belly, I love playing tug of war with my foster brother, and I LOVE peanut butter flavored treats. I’m not very food motivated, I’m 100% positive-reinforcement motivated. Nothing makes my tail wag and butt wiggle more than when my foster parents tell me I’m a good, smart boy. I aim to please, so if you tell me I’m doing something right, I will keep doing it.
I can’t wait to meet and love you! I would love another dog around, but I am just as happy being the center of attention. The cutest thing me about me? I snore and twitch in my sleep! Probably because I’m running more zoomies in my dreams!”
