Meet Miss Kelly...an adorable 5 year old Maltese, weighing 9 pounds. Kelly was rescued from a Missouri puppymill, where she has spent her entire life in a tiny filthy cage having litter after litter of puppies. She is very shy and timid, has had little or no interaction with humans in her short life, does not know how to walk on a leash, and is currently learning to trust people. Kelly requires a family who has had experience with a puppymill dog, has a secure fenced yard, and has another small confident dog for companionship. Because of her small size, Kelly would do best in a home with no small children, or large dogs.

Kelly ’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
