About Auggie Doggie | |
|
|
Sweet, little Auggie Doggie is the best lap dog. I mean literally, he will jump in your lap, curl in a ball. Auggie, along with 4 other family members, were found in a rural part of Missouri, where dogs are often dumped. All 5 dogs are heartworm positive. Auggie’s foster mom is still getting to know his personality but says he is housebroke, walks on a leash, knows “sit”, he does ok in his crate but will whine some. He seems to do well with kids but they do make him nervous. Actually, all new encounters make him nervous right now but his foster mom is helping him get over that. Auggie will need a family that will continue to socialize him. He is able to be adopted while going through his heartworm treatment if the family understands the importance of his care. If an adopter is more comfortable waiting until he completes his treatment his foster mom will keep him until treatment is over
If you are interested in meeting Auggie Doggie, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Auggie Doggie ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
