Toby has come a long way since leaving the puppy mill for a better life. He is no longer frightened of people or of being outdoors. In fact, he rings the bell when he wants to go out! A fenced yard where he can play and feel safe is a must, though, because he still resists being led on a leash. Unfortunately, he still pees in the house sometimes, but almost always on potty pads. Toby loves cuddles, and he is very generous with kisses. He has learned to obey "come!" and "stay!", and he's getting better at "lie down!" Eager to please, he'll do almost anything for a treat of Braunschweiger. Once attached to you, he can be jealous of other dogs and small children until he gets to know them. Car rides are not his thing, and cats are still an unknown. Won't you give him the love and training he needs? Your efforts will be warmly rewarded!

Toby ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
