FREDDY Male Yorkie 14 lbs. 1 year old, approx.
FREDDY NEEDS someone with lots of patience, energy, and the time to teach
proper discipline. Med to High Energy pup, but with a good exercise routine and a
few minutes of active play time a couple times a day, he does have calmer times.
Definitely NEEDS a fenced in yard! Tendency to be a “door-dasher”.
+ Silky haired; non-shedding
+ Eager to learn! Is food & praise motivated.
+ Very People, Kid, and dog friendly. * Has NOT been Cat tested.
+ Very sweet and craves attention. He’ll be a typical Velcro dog, for sure.
+ Almost 90% Housetrained. Needs watched closely, and let out often.
+ Does well all night in kennel. Only been left alone 4 hours during day so far.
+Travels well in a crate. + Walks fairly well on leash.
+ Loves playing with toys/stuffed animals… However,
- He is a little possessive about his toys and his blanket. He gets so excited he
jumps up on you without warning.
- Barks, but can be redirected most of time. Not good for Apartment life.
We do NOT recommend him for smaller children. Over 8yrs old we think best
for now. Mainly because of his jumping and his toy/blanket possessiveness.
TRAINING: *We are actively working on correcting any negative behaviors.
Still very much in the puppy, everything about Life is Grand stage. A Diamond in
the rough, but if you can take the time to continue with his training, he’ll be so
worth it. Now Knows SIT, LIE Down, OFF (most of time), and working on some
other commands. Turned his love of jumping into a skill. Jumps through a hula
hoop! So much fun!
He has the Potential for Agility training.
