My name is Bernie. I only weigh 20 lbs. and I’m a unique mixed breed, mostly terrier. (although the calmest terrier you will meet) I’m only 10 months old and have been shuffled to a few homes, and I don’t know why. I am a super good boy! I use the doggy door and potty outside, I’m submissive, I snuggle and kiss easily. And I’m full of character; I have a long body with short stubby legs, a bouncy terrier trot, curly tail, cute little underbite, and the longest eyelashes!
I like kids and other dogs. I’m just an easy going guy, truly, I just want to be loved. My foster mom and I love each other already so she’s promised to find me a perfect home, a forever one!

Potty trained to pads or doggy door.
Good with children.
Good with other dogs.
Will follow you on leash but isn’t accustomed to it.
Haven’t exposed him to cats.
He isn’t happy about crating. (first foster mom said she thinks he was shut in a small room often), but is very well behaved when left alone with my other dogs.

Bernie ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
