My name is Ben, I am a corgi mix and about 1-2 years old.  I HAVE to have a fenced in yard because I previously got away from my adopter and I was running loose for 1 month before they were able to catch me in a trap. I am house broke and crate trained and I weigh about 30 lbs.  I am very shy and it will take awhile before I will warm up to my new family.  I am looking for a home that doesn't have a lot of people coming in and out. I could easily dart out of the front door so I will need that special family that gets me. I don't want to run away again, but it's in my nature, if I see a chance to run, I will, and you won't be able to catch me, even if we became friends and I like you, I will still run. Don't adopt me because I am as cute as ever. I NEED a home with another dog and where I cannot escape, probably a home without kids in case they would leave the door open by mistake.

If you are interested in meeting Ben, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Ben ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
