Ernie is a spunky 14 pound, approximately 1-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. He is an
active, affectionate guy, house and crate trained, neutered, has all his shots, and
is chipped. He does shed a bit. It helps if he is brushed regularly or he will leave
hair all over your clothes. He gets along well with other dogs but is not good with cats.
He loves to jump up on a person’s lap and snuggle under their chin. Lots of kisses
from this one, then he settles and will lie there on your lap for hours.
He could never jump over a 3 ft fence and has not shown an inclination for
digging in the yard or under the fence, but he will wander if the gate is left open.
If he can slip under the fence he will but he prefers to stay right next to his human
– always. He walks well on a leash.

Ernie ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
