Fun or Important facts about Sparky: Sparky is a sweet and sassy talkative lap dog. He loves to play with toys and chill out with a chew. Sparky came into rescue, after he was dropped off at Animal Control, when his human passed away. He was recently diagnosed with
Intervertebral
Disk Disease (
IVDD
), stage 2: moderate to severe pain in the neck or low back area. He will need medication for life, so he can be like any other normal dog, running, jumping and playing. Because of his condition with
IVDD
, he requires a home without small children or large dogs. His medication will run $30-$40 monthly.

Sparky ’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
