My name is Beau, and I'm a 1.5 year old terrier mix, weighing close to 50 pounds. I am very friendly and affectionate - I haven't met a person or animal that I don't like! I'm an energetic and playful guy, but I'm a quick learner too! I already knows how to “sit” and "shake" and my foster mom taught me how to lay "down" in one training session! I like all people, including kids, but I get so excited to be around everyone that I jump up to be closer to you and want to always be at your side. Because of this, older kids might be best for me.  My foster mom is working with me on my manners, and I'm already making progress!  I LOVE to play with other dogs, and I let them take the lead if they want to (I'm not the dominant dog in the pack). I am very curious about cats and I want to play with them, but I don't want to hurt them. I'm also potty trained and do well in my crate at night. However, I don't like to be alone - after all, I'm a very friendly and social pup with lots of love to give! - so I will need to live in a house and not apartments because sometimes I bark for a little while after I'm put in my crate and left alone, but I will quiet down after 5-10 minutes as long as you give me a stuffed Kong!  I would love a house with another dog and/or an active family because, above all things, I am happiest when I'm playing!

Beau ’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
