I’m Clarice, a 1.5-year-old hound mix (my foster mom thinks I may be a dachshund-beagle mix, but who really knows?). I came to Needy Paws Rescue from rural Missouri. I was living outside and not liking it one bit. Now I'm safe and warm and relieved to put those cold, hungry days behind me. My foster mom likes to brag about what a good, sweet girl I am: I sleep in my crate, I potty outside, I eat all my food, I leave the cats alone, and I play well with others. But what she fails to notice are my couch-potato skills. I'm great at cuddling up in a ball at your feet, or stretching my little body alongside yours. If you're looking for a sweet couch potato who also loves to play, I’m definitely your girl!

Clarice ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
