Meet Handsome Chainy, a male Lhasa Apso Shih Tzu Mix, approx. 3 yrs old and 15 lbs.
He had a rough start in life with being rescued from living his life on a chain. Then he tested Heartworm Positive and received a 90-day treatment. He has had his final treatment and will be available for adoption after March 8.
~ He is house and crate trained
~ Sits on your lap for some love and would love to sleep with you.
~ He is curious and would love to have a fenced yard to run in.
~ Entertains himself very well, playing with his Cardinal bird toy.
~ He will walk on leash, but pulls very hard when he sees a squirrel or rabbit.
~ Gets along with other dogs his size with proper introduction.
Chainy does require a fenced in yard for his forever home.

Chainy ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
