My name is Sparrow. I am a 1 yr old Terrier Mix weighing 9 lbs. My foster mom says that I'm so cute with white fur and a black eye. When she talks to me, I can't hear her because I am Deaf. I don't consider that a handicap at all! I love to run around and play. I love to lay in your lap and sleep in your bed. I am housebroken but not fond of a crate.
I recently had a 1-1/2" benign tumor removed from the back of my neck and once my stitches are out around Nov 19, I can then join a new family.
Because I am deaf, I really need another fur sibling so I have help with sounds around me and a fenced in yard to keep me safe. I also have some anxiety in the car. I would do best in a home with kids over the age of 12.
My foster mom says that you have to get my attention slowly because I do get scared if you sneak up on me. She sometimes blows air on top of my head or taps me lightly.
I'd love a family to love me and care for me. When you meet me, you will fall in love because I am such a lovable little girl.

Sparrow ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
