Meet Maverick, 1 year old l, 17 pound beagle mix. 

 
He was rescued by a good Samaritan in southern Missouri. They did everything to try and find his home but, no one came forward. Unfortunately, he was heartworm positive when Needy Paws brought him to STL. So, he has been undergoing treatment that last few months. Now, it is time for this boy to find his forever home!
 
Maverick is a sweet boy that loves to play. He is good with cats, dogs, and even chickens! He completely ignores the cats, plays with the dogs, and just curiously watches these weird birds. Haha. He also good with kids. He loves long walks, playing fetch, wrestling, and once exercised, he loves cuddling! He does mark the house a bit when he first goes somewhere new but a belly band does wonders!

Maverick ’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
